Most Viewed Videos; 'Shes A Bitch (And then You Live)' (Misogynistia) 1992 Greenhouse+Songs - BMI Music @Jango Radio 2010. 431,946 Views - Youtube / DailyMotion Video for Greenhouse Effect and One of their Greatest Songs. The Los Angeles band recorded this classic Late in their musical career in August of 1992 as Clark Hagins carefully recorded all the instruments here alone, over-dubbing them with Studio Recording Engineer Bill Krodel at El Segundo California's Jet City Sound Studio (Formerly known in the South bay area as WBR Studios). Bassist Rick Carmody had at the time permanently left the band to join Redondo beach Punkers "The One Handed Readers" (Carmody would briefly return to the band to shoot the infamous "Videos" in November of 1992 with Haggins and Drummer Palle Karlson from Denmark). "Ted had left the group but I was suddenly recording my best new shit,....this song and "Five Years" just knocked me out,....and other people too" Says Clark_Hagins in 2008. Greenhouse Effect's very catchy melodic music seems to work well in cyberspace as it has found a welcoming home on the web; "The fixed environment of the net means that people cannot escape us" Says Higgins "But people don't want to !! (Laughs) ,..they love our shit,.....we take people back to the 70's and shit like "Land of the Lost" and The Partridge Family,.....we're definitely a catchy band stuck in 1977,.....I'm into stuff like John Denver and Dan Fogleberg and songs like "Longer",...I ain't afraid to admit it,..." - The internet has made stars of the band who doesn't rely on make up or gimmicks to get by,...its all about pure songwriting and un-attractive guys strictly; "We're not lookers,....we're ugly boys but 'thats' what makes us so appealing,....we're so unattractive and ugly that we're actually sexy" Says Higgins.
